- This was a planning application for a major leisure and tourism development and regeneration in the North Bay of Scarborough on a prominent and sensitive site.

waterpark - Our expert planning team secured the approval of several planning applications on behalf of Benchmark Leisure Ltd for a major leisure and tourism development in the North Bay of Scarborough.
- We provided planning, urban & rural planning, environment, Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments (LVIA) and landscape design services which all contributed to the successful application.
We provided planning and landscape consultancy expertise to secure planning permission for the wider development of Scarborough’s North Bay known as The Sands.
The first part of the scheme to be completed was the water park, one of the largest in the country and including indoor and outdoor swimming pools, water rides, flumes, a spa and a car par, which opened in the summer of 2016. Also completed are a Premier Inn and a family pub.
