Key Project Information
- The development is an integral part of the Strategic Urban Extension to the South of Warwick and Leamington Spa.
Our client was looking at new development plans for Lower Heathcote Farm in order to bring forwards just over 1,200 dwellings, a mixed use community hub/local centre, a primary school and an open space network that includes a Country Park; in order to provide a wide range of much needed new homes and facilities in Warwickshire.
We provided expert advice from a range of our disciplines including our planning, design, environment and heritage teams. The involvement spans the preparation of outline planning applications and an Environmental Statement, a successful appeal on Gallows Hill (where evidence on five year housing land supply, heritage and landscape issues were key), through to masterplanning, preparation of site wide design codes, Reserved Matters applications dealing with infrastructure and discharging conditions.
After outline approval, we successfully discharged the Design Code condition and prepared reserved matter applications for Bovis Homes and Bellway Homes. The site is currently under construction.
