The initial concept for the site was guided by the sensitivity of the historic town and the view to the existing Holy Trinity Church. The design team engaged with the local community and key stakeholders to ensure the development responded to the local context and was respectful of existing communities.
The design was able to utilise and overcome the sensitive setting and the constraints of the site, and the scheme was subsequently approved at committee. The end result was a high-quality development which incorporated innovative design features that enhance the legibility and identity of the site.
This site was completed in 2020.
