A new team, led by strategic hire Tom Rothero, will work with clients to navigate the increasing importance of biodiversity and ecology within the planning process, from biodiversity net gain (BNG) regulations to strategic land managem

ent. The team, which takes a nature positive development approach, will support clients beyond essential compliance to

help developers achieve sustainable project outcomes.

The Pegasus biodiversity and ecology offering launches with a eight-strong team, led by Tom Rothero and Ella Moseley, supported by Sean Macleod in Scotland.

Tom brings extensive strategic expertise, helping clients navigate policy, planning and long-term biodiversity opportunities in nature recovery, habitat banking, restoration and creation. Ella brings expertise in delivering high-quality biodiversity-led solutions, drawing on a breadth of expertise across projects of all scales. Sean is experiences in supporting clients through the construction and operational phases, leading on ecological and environmental compliance monitoring and habitat restoration. Combined, their leadership ensures a balanced, practical service that meets both immediate and long-term client needs.

Pegasus aims to grow its biodiversity and ecology team over the next few months, reflecting its significant investment and commitment to match expanding client needs and demands in the market.
