A strategic and chartered town planner with 17 years’ experience has joined Pegasus Group’s Edinburgh office as director of planning to support the firm’s growing and evolving client base.

Having spent more than 14 years working in local government with planning authorities, Jamie Scott MRTPI is looking to further his private sector career following a 2.5-year tenure at WSP.

Experienced in various sectors and application types, including renewable energy, electricity transmission, transport, commercial and infrastructure, Jamie has also acted as an expert witness at a Public Local Inquiry.

Excited by the prospect of taking ownership of the region, Jamie is keen to develop and grown the Scottish business from the Edinburgh office.

“Pegasus Groups’ ethos and values align very closely with my own as a person and the business is well positioned, in both geography and capabilities, to be involved in Scotland’s wealth of transformative and environmentally important work,” said Jamie Scott, director – planning at Pegasus Group.

“I’m very keen that we do our bit to make a difference to the climate emergency through renewable energy and net zero-related projects, alongside helping to provide new homes to address the national housing emergency. I am looking forward to discovering the scope and scale of the business throughout my onboarding.”
