Chris Wheaton is the latest Senior Director hire for Pegasus Group as its growth strategy continues with an expanded Economics offering.

Pegasus Group, a leading multidisciplinary development consultancy, has announced the appointment of Chris Wheaton as Senior Director in its Economics team. Chris will lead the growth of Development Viability services as part of the expanding Economics offering.
With Chris’ appointment, Pegasus is expanding its economics and development consultancy services. The firm is introducing expertise in viability, development appraisal, and financial analysis. Property developers and investors face a ‘perfect storm’ of economic and legislative challenges. Chris’ experience in Development Viability will help Pegasus support clients as they navigate these issues and seek practical solutions.
Chris joins Pegasus’ London office from Quod, a specialist development consultancy. He brings 25 years of experience in Development Viability. Chris has supported landowners, developers, housebuilders, and public bodies in advancing their projects. He has advised on some of the country’s largest and most complex developments. His experience includes ‘garden towns’ of up to 20,000 homes, town centre redevelopments, and high-density urban regeneration.
Chris’ appointment follows a series of senior hires at Pegasus in 2025. These hires support the group’s ambitious growth strategy. In his new role, Chris will build Pegasus’ Development Viability practice throughout 2026. He will also provide crucial viability services to clients across the country.
