New Cambridge office will provide space for the firm’s new hires and headroom for planned future growth

15th May 2025 – Leading property development consultancy Pegasus Group has today announced it will be moving to a new office in Cambridge to accommodate its growing team and capitalise on growth opportunities across the region.

Located within the well-established Vision Park, the move forms part of a planned expansion of Pegasus’ services, building on strong client demand and a period of significant growth across East Anglia, Lincolnshire, Essex and Kent. The new office will house over 30 specialists advising across Pegasus’ multidisciplinary offer, with a particular focus on planning, landscape, heritage, design, infrastructure, and architectural design. The consultancy will continue to grow its in-house team across all levels and disciplines.

As part of its growth plan the consultancy is targeting residential opportunities in the region, looking to capitalise on the Government’s housing aspirations and the easing of Green Belt development under the revised National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF). Pegasus recently hired Steve Wood as an Associate Landscape Designer, its first landscape designer in the region, to help fulfil these ambitions.

Additionally, the business is looking to expand its heritage and infrastructure consultancy services. While the Cambridge team supports developments across much of East Anglia and the South East, the business is particularly focused on growing their heritage practice in Cambridge itself due to the large number of historic sites in the city.

Commenting on the move, Executive Director at Pegasus Group’s Cambridge Office, Robert Barber said: “We’ve been committed to supporting developments around Cambridge since Pegasus was founded in 2003, a commitment we are redoubling by expanding our offer for the region.”

“This is an exciting time for growth in Cambridge and the South East. Our team is looking forward to growing our support for clients and deploying our deep industry expertise to drive development in the area.”

Also commenting, the CEO of Pegasus Group, Douglas McCormick, said:Our new office in Cambridge is just one part of Pegasus Group’s plan for growth.”

“It’s fantastic to see how we are growing to support our clients in and around Cambridge and expanding our multidisciplinary capabilities for the entire region. We look forward to seeing how the team will further grow the Cambridge office from their new site.”
