Leading one of our design teams and taking on complex projects is incredibly rewarding. Every day we take on new challenges, and the ultimate reward is knowing we're shaping great places - that's a huge source of pride for me and for everyone on the team.

Working within the People Team at Pegasus Group has been a joy. I work with a team of passionate and caring professionals that all contribute so much to supporting each individual within the business. My role has already challenged me to launch a new system to the whole business and deliver a suite of training alongside this. I've been given regular opportunities to share my capabilities and expertise with senior leadership and am encouraged by my line manager to be my full self at work. As someone diagnosed with ADHD, this has been such a validating and refreshing experience.

As a Pegasus employee for over 20 years now, what has always struck me is the ability of the company to retain a ‘family’ feel, notwithstanding the growth of the business year on year since it was founded. This is part of the DNA of the business and allows the successful integration of all staff at all levels from different Areas of Expertise. It provides a platform for staff to develop in their careers, gaining a wide variety of experiences along the way which in turn leads to the success of the business.

Pegasus has given me the opportunity to grow both personally and professionally, with a supportive team and varied projects that keep things exciting. The flexible working culture and focus on development really make it a place where you can thrive.

I have been at Pegasus for 10 years, where I started out as a graduate fresh from my Masters. Staying to build my career here is testament of the friendly and supportive working culture Pegasus has to offer, as well as the excellent opportunities for career progression. You get to work with a range of professions across the country, and Pegasus are also supportive of moving to/across different offices – which I took advantage of early on in my career.

It’s incredible to see how quickly the environment team is growing in Pegasus— there’s real momentum here. We’re expanding across a wide range of sectors, from residential and education to infrastructure, health care and the public realm, which keeps the work dynamic and full of opportunities to make a meaningful impact.

The opportunity to work on a wide variety of historic buildings and archaeological sites across the UK for a range of clients makes Pegasus an exciting place to work.  The ability to learn from the experience and knowledge within the heritage team at Pegasus ensures that I am continually learning, as well as having the opportunity to share my knowledge and experience with others too.

Pegasus has supported me very well in my early career, providing a wide range of opportunities and career progression. I have worked on a variety of projects including residential, employment and leisure and worked with people in other expertise. Everyone is willing to help, and the office has a very welcoming atmosphere.
