Key Project Information
- The development forms part of the East Leeds Extension which will ultimately deliver up to 5,000 new homes.
- East Leeds Extension is split into four phases of housing and infrastructure known as ‘Quadrants’. This development forms part of Morwick Green, the middle quadrant; and will provide nearly 300 new market and affordable homes.
- It provides a range of homes which will suit young couples and families.
- Two Character Areas have been created. A Traditional ‘Village’ area that draws cues from Scholes and a Contemporary ‘Village’ that drawing cues from Swarcliffe.
Sitting off Leeds Road, the development will benefit from access to the new East Leeds Orbital Route, which will provide direct links to the M1 and north Leeds.
In addition, as part of the wider East Leeds Extension master plan, residents will be able to look forward to new retail, education and community facilities as they become available.
The application was approved on the 17th October 2023.
Work began on site at the end of 2023.
