Pegasus Group is delighted to secure planning permission for a 28MW solar park on behalf of British Solar Renewables. The East Cambridgeshire site will be in operation for 40 years and make a valuable contribution towards the region’s renewable energy needs.
The Planning Committee which met virtually on Wednesday 7th October unanimously agreed with the officer’s recommendation to grant approval. Pegasus Group provided planning, landscape, heritage and environmental services provided by its Cambridge and Cirencester offices. Pegasus Group coordinated the project team from the preparation stage, which included a screening request that determined the scheme was not EIA, pre-application advice, public consultation through to determination.
