Pegasus Group has successfully gained planning permission for a development of 106 new homes, community woodland, and formal play space on a greenfield site within an Oxfordshire village.
Pegasus Group assisted on phase 1 of development at the adjacent site via a planning application and successful appeal for 68 homes on behalf of Bellway Homes, Thames Valley in 2018. Following this Bellway Homes instructed Pegasus Group to assist in providing planning advice and project management services on the second phase of development for 106 houses. By contrast to phase 1, phase 2 was a site allocated by the Neighbourhood Plan and therefore Pegasus Group provided assistance to ensure the proposal achieved the original principles and aspirations of the Neighbourhood Plan allocation but also allowed for a deliverable development which required a degree of flexibility on the original allocation.
To achieve a successful outcome, Pegasus Group assisted in the pre application process with the Council and EIA screening which generated positive feedback, and assisted in reacting to and accommodating feedback from the urban design officer, and the housing officer on housing mix. Full Planning Permission has just been granted and this will deliver a high-quality development, providing housing and facilities which will benefit the village as a whole.’
