Outline planning permission for the development 450 new homes and land for new primary school in Lincoln has been approved.
At its recent meeting North Kesteven District Council’s Planning Committee resolved to grant outline planning permission for Phase 1A of the South-East Quadrant Sustainable urban extension at Lincoln.
The proposals provide for 450 homes and land for a new primary school that forms part of the Local Plan allocation that will eventually deliver some 6,000 homes. Working for the applicant Jesus College Oxford, Guy Longley and his team at Pegasus Group provided planning and urban design support including an updated indicative masterplan and a wider overarching masterplan showing how the site fits with the wider development.
Thanks also to the project team including Watermans who provided transport input and RPS dealing with heritage matters. The consent is an important milestone in the delivery of the Sustainable Urban Extension which is a key component of the Central Lincolnshire Local Plan.
