Tony joined Pegasus Group at its inception in 2004. He has led on some of Pegasus Group’s most prestigious projects including being instrumental in the planning of the Gloucester MSA, now considered to be one of the best in the country.
Tony has been involved with the promotion and provision of several large development schemes throughout the UK, involving extensive discussion and negotiation with local authorities, as well as presentation of evidence at Examinations in Public, Local Plan Inquiries and a variety of Section 78 appeal inquiries and hearings. He has won a wide variety of appeals particularly in respect of housing land availability. Many of the appeals have been important in predetermining the way housing land should be assessed.
Tony was previously a member of the Home Builder’s Federation regional and national planning committee. He was also a member of a small group of developers who conducted discussion on future planning issues directly with the officers of the Department of Environment in London.
Before joining Pegasus Group, Tony worked at RPS and was a partner at Chapman Warren. He is a Chartered Surveyor and a Chartered Town Planner as well as a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and a member of the Institute of Directors. Until recently, Tony was Chairman of the Lichfield Festival, acknowledged as one of the best arts festivals in the country.
