Sarah joined Pegasus Group in February 2008 as an Associate, became a Director in January 2013 and Regional Director in July 2015.
Prior to joining Pegasus, she was employed by Gloucestershire County Council and worked in the Strategic Policy section as Team Leader. Sarah worked on several Structure Plans, Local Plans and latterly led the input to the Regional Spatial Strategy for the South West from Gloucestershire County Council.
At Pegasus, Sarah is engaged in a wide variety of planning tasks for a broad range of clients, including several major developers. She is involved in promoting a number of strategic opportunities, including urban extensions etc, through the local plan process.
Sarah gained over 30 years of experience in planning in both local government and private practice and has extensive experience in planning policy formulation at regional, county, unitary and district levels and fully understands the complex inter-relationships between various policy documents.
She is highly experienced in Local Plan promotion work (for both strategic and non-strategic sites), including site appraisals, strategic planning advice, preparation of representations to Local Plans, review of local plan evidence base, preparation of hearing statements for examination and regularly appears at Examinations into Local Plans. Sarah has successfully promoted strategic sites to be removed from the Green Belt.
Sarah also has experience of the preparation of planning applications, project management and co-ordination of consultants, community and stakeholder consultation and Instructions to Counsel when required on projects.
