Through his work in both the public and private sector, Nicholas has developed a strong understanding of the role that landscape architecture plays within the built environment and the careful balance needed to secure a sustainable future.
With over 15 years of experience within the industry, Nicholas has a wealth of experience that ranges from giving evidence at public inquiry through to detailed design and overseeing the implementation of works on site.
This experience has allowed him to work effectively in a variety of project teams, with a range of different clients. He has a particular interest in the design of residential developments and transport infrastructure, working on a broad spectrum of projects that range from single dwellings within sensitive landscapes (including para 79 dwellings), to large-scale mixed-use developments and transport interchanges with associated high-quality public realm.
As a chartered member of the Landscape Institute Nicholas currently mentors colleagues on their ‘Pathway to Chartership’ and carries out tutorials for people preparing to sit their chartership exams.
