Gary has extensive experience in the private sector leading multi-disciplinary teams on large scale residential and commercial projects. He has worked on a number of complex projects across the UK but has particular experience in the East Midlands.

He has successfully promoted schemes through the local plan process and secured numerous permissions from local authorities and on appeal.

Successful planning outcomes require a personable approach and a forensic attention to detail. Gary offers these skills together with a commercial awareness to ensure financially viable planning permissions.

A further asset is the ability to identify deliverable development opportunities. Gary is presently involved in promoting a number of strategic opportunities through the local plan process.

• Lead consultant for a 3,500-dwelling urban extension to Daventry.
• Lead consultant for a 2,700-dwelling urban extension to Coalville.
• Lead consultant for a 3,500-dwelling urban extension to Northampton.
• Local Plan promotion for a new community village on Green Belt land in St Albans, including a new stadium for St Albans City FC.
• Presented planning evidence at a recent public inquiry for a new settlement in Leeds.
