Gail joined Pegasus Group in 2015, with over 15 years’ experience as a heritage professional. Gail has experience of providing advice and producing assessments to support planning applications for diverse developments involving historic buildings, historic townscapes, historic landscapes and archaeology.
Gail has led many projects assessing the impact upon designated heritage assets through changes to setting, including Listed buildings, Conservation Areas, Parks and Gardens and Registered Battlefields.
Gail has significant experience in negotiation with Local Authority and Historic England Officers, and advising project teams on scheme designs to ensure that plans are formulated that achieve the clients’ aims and are acceptable to officers and consultees.
Gail has experience of giving evidence at planning inquiry as an expert witness with regards to heritage issues, specifically evidence on impacts upon the significance of Listed buildings and Conservation Areas through changes to setting.
