Chris Jarvis is a Director at Pegasus Group’s Leeds office, specialising in Minerals & Waste
Born and raised in Rotherham, Chris attended Sheffield Hallam University gaining a degree in Mineral Estate Management in 1996. He subsequently worked as a surveyor for the East Riding Council before joining the East Riding’s Strategic Development Control Team working on minerals, waste and EIA development.
Chris then studied at Sheffield Hallam University to study a post-graduate diploma in Urban & Regional Planning. Prior to completing the course he joined North Yorkshire County Council as a Development Control Officer, progressing over the next five years to Senior Minerals & Waste Policy Officer drafting the North Yorkshire Minerals & Waste Local Plan. After leaving government, Chris joined RPS in Leeds, followed by three years with Glen Kemp Landscape Architects in Newcastle. Finally, Chris started his own consultancy in February 2011, leaving to join Pegasus in May 2017.
