Gladman Developments Ltd. promoted the land at Station Road, Warboys for allocation within the emerging Local Plan. Pegasus Group was later commissioned to prepare and submit an application for residential development.
In July 2013 Pegasus Group attended a public consultation event at Warboys Parish Centre to discuss with the local community the options for growth at the Market Town and present the proposal for residential development at Station Road.
An outline application was submitted in November 2013 which Huntingdonshire District Council’s planning committee resolved to grant permission subject to a S106 legal agreement in June 2014. This permission included the provision of affordable housing, a defined site access and obliges the developer to contribute to the provision of new, and the upgrade of, public footpaths. There is also a commitment to various transport improvements including the provision of ‘Real Time’ bus stop information points.
