Pegasus Group prepared and submitted a detailed planning application on behalf of Richborough Estates Ltd.
Our planning team provided advice to assist an outline application for residential development, comprising up to 275 dwellings with associated access, landscaping, open space and drainage infrastructure at land off Burton Road and Moira Road, Ashby De-la-Zouch, Leicestershire.
The development aimed to create housing variety and new amenity spaces for the existing and new community while opening up the public access across the site.
Detailed plans of the 36.49 acre site, along with an access statement, were prepared following an extensive consultation process with National Forest, North West Leicestershire District Council, Ashby De-la-Zouch Council and the local community.
The proposals will be delivered without having an adverse effect on the existing highway network and can successfully deliver new pedestrian footways which link to new residential streets, pubic open spaces and areas of play, as well as strengthening connections to Ashby De-la-Zouch Town Centre.
