Acting for Theori Housing, we have secured a resolution to approve a planning application for 90 flats at Parallel House, Bath Road, Slough. The proposal includes a two-storey extension on the roof and a 4-storey extension at the rear, as well as conversion of the former office building to create a mix of studios, 1 and 2-bedroom dwellings. A comprehensive package of benefits has been negotiated with the LPA including: an area of open space with play equipment for residents; straightening out of a “dog-leg” in an adjoining public right of way; a travel plan and financial contributions for affordable housing, education, air quality and landscape/recreation.

Pegasus Group provided transport as well as planning advice. Kempton Carr Croft advised regarding viability. Plans were provided by Powell Dobson Architects.
