The Heritage Team at Pegasus Group was commissioned to prepare a Statement to support a Written Representations Appeal following the refusal of planning permission for the demolition of a garage and construction of a residential property designed by P&R Architects, within the Conservation Area.

The application was refused by the Local Authority due to their view that the proposals would harm the character and appearance of the Conservation Area.

However, the Inspector agreed within the evidence prepared by Pegasus Group that stated that the development would not result in harm to the character and appearance of the Conservation Area and the Appeal was allowed.
