Building on our successful track record in demonstrating that North Somerset Council are unable to demonstrate a five-year housing land supply, Pegasus Group were commissioned to represent clients on this matter at a Section 78 appeal. The Inspector found the evidence of Pegasus Group to be credible and that the shortfall in housing land supply was very serious, significant and a matter of substantial weight.

The substantial weight afforded to this benefit of the appeal proposal was considered in the planning balance. The Inspector concluded that the benefits were not significantly and demonstrably outweighed by any adverse effects and the appeal was allowed providing for up to 150 dwellings, public open space, allotments, football pitches and changing facilities.
