Pegasus Group’s design team, on behalf of Mactaggart & Mickel Homes Ltd, produced the Design and Access statement to accompany the outline planning application for residential development on land south of Western Way, Bowerhill. We also prepared the subsequent Reserved Matters application for Taylor Wimpey which was approved in 2018.

Located to the south east of Melksham and to the north of Bowerhill, the development will create an integrated residential community with a sensitive relationship to the existing settlement and include up to 235 dwellings and an element of affordable housing. There is also a provision of a one form entry primary school, public open space and green infrastructure to include an open space with an equipped children’s play space and woodland buffer planting.
