Pegasus Group gained full planning approval on behalf of Keepmoat Homes for a residential scheme of 145 dwellings at New Bolton Woods, Bradford.
The site represents the first phase of a wider regeneration scheme in conjunction is Canal Road Urban Village Limited (CRUVL), Bradford City Council and Keepmoat Homes. CRUVL is a joint venture company where Bradford City Council have a controlling stake along with others including Arnold Laver.
This application for Keepmoat is the first phase of a regeneration scheme for 1,000 homes and various community and commercial developments. There is no affordable housing in this phase as the development proceeds go into a regeneration pot for delivery of planning benefits, including affordable housing in later phases if there is any overage. There is unlikely to be any overage from this first phase which is subject of grant funding from the LEP to make it work.
Pegasus Group provided design and planning services; producing the Masterplan and detailed drawings for the scheme as well as planning submission and associated reports. The final layout scheme below was produced by the design team.
